Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and Rainslice (“Rainslice”, “we”, “us”). They govern your access to and use of the Rainslice website, applications, and services (together, the “Service”).

By creating an account, subscribing, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and the business you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

What the Service is

Rainslice is an AI platform that runs the day-to-day operations of a home services business around the clock. It answers and places calls and text messages, qualifies and follows up on leads, schedules and dispatches jobs, builds quotes, and handles customer service across your front office and back office, 24/7.

You configure how the Service behaves, including your service area, pricing, booking rules, escalation rules, and connected tools. The Service acts within the rules you set, and you can review, override, or step into any call, conversation, or job at any time.

Accounts and eligibility

The Service is built for businesses. You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind the business you sign up for. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information about your business, including your service area, pricing, and availability, since the Service uses this information to book jobs and answer customers on your behalf.

Subscriptions and billing

The standard plan is billed monthly at the price shown on our pricing page. Plans are month-to-month with no long-term lock-in. Payments are processed by our payment provider, and you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.

You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Larger teams on custom plans are governed by the terms agreed at signup in addition to these Terms.

Calls, texts, and your customers

The Service communicates with your customers on your behalf by phone and text message, and may record and transcribe calls so you can review them. Because these communications are sent for your business, you are responsible for making sure they are lawful, including:

  • Having the required consent to call, text, and record your customers under applicable laws, such as the TCPA and state call recording laws.
  • Honoring opt-outs. When a customer asks to stop receiving messages, the Service respects that, and you must not attempt to override it.
  • Keeping your business information truthful, so quotes, prices, and availability communicated on your behalf are accurate.

The Service can announce itself as an AI assistant on calls and always offers a path to reach a person. You must not configure it to deceive customers about who or what they are speaking with where disclosure is required by law.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, robocalls, or communications without required consent.
  • Violate any law or the rights of any person.
  • Misrepresent your business, impersonate another business, or engage in fraudulent or deceptive conduct.
  • Probe, disrupt, reverse engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure.
  • Resell or provide the Service to third parties without our written consent.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section, including where required by our telephony and messaging carriers.

Your content and data

You own your business data, including your customer records, call recordings, transcripts, messages, schedules, quotes, and job history (“Your Data”). You grant us the rights needed to host, process, and display Your Data solely to provide and support the Service for you.

We do not sell Your Data and we do not use it to train models for anyone else. Our Privacy Policy explains in detail how data is collected, used, and protected. On termination, you can request an export of Your Data within a reasonable period before it is deleted.

AI outputs

The Service uses artificial intelligence to converse, schedule, quote, and make operational decisions within the rules you set. AI systems can make mistakes. While the Service is designed to book real availability, escalate emergencies, and follow your rules, you should review important outputs, and you remain responsible for the commitments your business makes to its customers.

Nothing produced by the Service is legal, financial, or professional advice.

Third-party services

The Service connects to third-party tools you choose, such as your CRM or field service software, calendars, and phone numbers. Your use of those tools is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party services, though we work to keep integrations reliable.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and content (excluding Your Data), is owned by Rainslice and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service for your business while your subscription is active. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works of the Service.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay, or use the Service in a way that creates risk for us, our carriers, or other customers. Sections that by their nature should survive termination, including ownership, disclaimers, and limits of liability, survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every call, message, or booking will be handled perfectly.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rainslice will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Rainslice harmless from claims arising out of Your Data, your use of the Service in violation of these Terms, or your communications with your customers, including claims under telemarketing, messaging, and call recording laws.

Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will give you reasonable notice, such as by email or an in-product notice. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law and contact

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
